Here are the requirements to be eligible for the “Mabrouk Ma Yak” service:

  • The father must be a UAE citizen.
  • The mother must be listed in the family book.
  • This service is only for babies born at hospitals participating in “Mabrouk Ma Yak”.

Mabrouk Ma Yak Required documents

  • The father must have a verified UAE Pass account.
  • Valid Emirates IDs for both parents.
  • Family book.
  • Marriage certificate (only if this is the firstborn child).

Important note: The application must be submitted within 3 months of the baby’s birth.

If the father applying for the service doesn’t have an authenticated UAE Pass account, the application cannot proceed. An authenticated account requires additional verification steps to confirm your identity.

Mabrouk Ma Yak Personal Photo Requirements

  • Background: White
  • Hands: Not visible in the photo (i.e., below the shoulders)
  • Eyes: Open
  • Frame: Not allowed
  • Dimensions: 40-35 millimetres wide

Note: The child’s photo must meet specific requirements as stated above. If the photo doesn’t meet these requirements, it will delay the processing of your application.

At the Hospital:

  1. Inform the hospital: Let them know you wish to use the “Mabrouk Ma Yak” service to obtain your baby’s documents. This needs to be done during your hospital stay.

Mabrouk Ma Yak Online Application:

  1. Confirmation SMS: Once the hospital completes the process, you’ll receive a confirmation SMS with a link to finish your application online.
  2. Login and details: Go to the link and log in to the Mabrouk Ma Yak Service portal using your verified UAE Pass account.
  3. Baby information: Enter your newborn’s name and upload a photo that meets the specified requirements (white background, open eyes, no hands, specific size).

  • First name only: Only the first name needs to be entered. Your child’s full name will include your family name and father’s name, automatically added to the printed documents.
  • No special characters: Avoid including any special characters like symbols, numbers, or punctuation in the name.
  • Character limit: The name must be 15 characters or less.
  • Accurate English conversion: Ensure the English name you provide accurately reflects the Arabic name (if applicable).

When can you use this service?

To use this service, the parent must complete the payment within 120 days from the date of the baby’s birth.
