The first and most crucial step in renewing your Indian passport is visiting the nearest BLS Centre in Dubai. BLS Centre is the agency responsible for collecting passport renewal applications and fees on behalf of the Embassy of India or the Consulate General of India in Dubai.

Location 1:

  • Address: Office #118-119, Mezzanine Floor, Al Khaleej Center, Mankhool Road, Bur Dubai
  • Timings: 08:00 am to 08:00 pm (Saturday-Thursday)

Location 2:

  • Address: Shop No #13, Ground Floor, Zeenah Building, Deira
  • Timings: 08:00 am to 05:00 pm

Keep in mind that the last token is issued at 04:30 p.m. at the BLS Centre in Khaleej Centre and at 03:30 p.m. in Deira.

The documents you need for Indian passport renewal in Dubai vary depending on whether you’re an adult or a minor.

Documents Required For Adults:

  • Original passport.
  • Valid Emirates ID.
  • Additional documents may be required if your UAE residence visa has expired. Refer to the BLS Centre website for guidance.

Please note that you must submit these documents in person at the BLS Centre.

  • Original passport of the minor applicant.
  • Valid Emirates ID of the minor.
  • Original passports of both parents for verification.

Upon your visit to the BLS Centre, you’ll receive a token for your application. The BLS Centres also provide photocopying and photographing services. You can obtain an application form at the center as well. 

Once your turn arrives, submit your documents to the Submission Officer, sign the application form in their presence, and pay the renewal fees.

Fees for Indian Passport Renewal:

  • Adults (36 pages booklet): AED 285
  • Adults (60 pages booklet): AED 380
  • Minors: AED 190

Pro Tip: Sign the application form only in front of the Submission Officer to ensure proper procedure.

Receive the Indian Passport Renewed By Courier

After a minimum of 5 days, you can expect your renewed passport to be delivered to you via courier. Alternatively, you can choose the Tatkal service, which ensures delivery within two days.

  • Adults (36 pages booklet): AED 855
  • Adults (60 pages booklet): AED 950
  • Minors: AED 760
